I do not struggle.

This is the problem with my life.

I am satisfied on the lowest level of the hierarchy.

With the exception of the draft issue, I'm completely satisfied on the second level.

Most of the time, I'm pretty satisfied on the third level, too. While on the topic: I'm sorry, to those of you who I love, when I mistreat you.

Somewhere in the neighborhood of 99% of the time, I am completely comfortable with my life where the items on the fourth level are concerned. Even if it's for things like planning and math tutoring, most of the time I feel as though I can at least be useful to the people in my life without feeling 'used'.

For the last few years, I've been examining some of the things up there at the top. It's a hell of a struggle, as I'm sure you(pl.) know, but it's very fulfilling to maintain even a token effort towards understanding in some of these areas despite being distracted and occupied by all of that more important stuff on the lower levels. For some reason, looking at that list brings a whole flood of Dune quotes rushing back.

Seek freedom and become captive of your desires.
Seek discipline and find your liberty.

It works on the whole pyramid.

Try it some time.

I Love you.
