I hope everyone had a good Christmas, New Year, and break in general. It's not necessarily over for everyone, so count yourselves lucky if you still have some time left, but personally I go back tomorrow. It was simultaneously a very short and a very long break. It was too short because I didn't see enough of the people that I love. It was long because I didn't see enough of the people that I love. Ah, well, the world hasn't ended.
I had meant to go back and finish that post. Tomorrow became yesterday, and a busy yesterday at that, as I signed up for not only an independent study session but also one honors in the major research program, and have my eye on yet another still. This semester is going to be, if you'll excuse my uncharacteristic use of the phrase, _HeLLa_ busy. Eh.
I still miss my rat. Things keep changing for me; this life thing is so very strange. I hope I have the heart for it. Still, I can't help but wonder where all of this is going... skin of my teeth and growing closer. Eh.
I wish my blog still had some humor to it, but I seem to have lost my touch. Sorry.
I hope the semester goes very well for everyone. I've had occasion to be happy for a great many people (... especially myself ;] ) who have found points of balance and stability in the world. I smile and hope for all of you.
