I'm starting to feel the temporal walls closing in on me, and I'm not a huge fan of the sensation. I shouldn't be posting right now, but I'm waiting for something to happen.
I've got three huge school things going on right now. My Quantum Computing project is still due on Wednesday and I still haven't gotten nearly enough of it done, but I'm sure I'll be able to throw at least something A-worthy in the meantime. With my ethics class over and done with and physics nearly in the bag, I was feeling confident tonight until just now when I looked at the Prolog assignment I have to do for my Programming Languages class. It's insane; I haven't the slightest clue how I'm going to get it working in time.
To give you and idea of what Prolog is like, imagine the most counter-intuitive programming approach possible. I had an intuitive understanding of most quantum mechanics concepts within a few moments of exposure, but after three weeks I still can't think in effective Prolog. Grrr...
Anyway, both it and my French presentation are due vendredi le cinq decembre, and while I'm not worried about the presentation in the least, I still have to do five chapters of workbook nonsense between now and then and somehow *shiver* coordinate with my group. I'm glad to have a break coming up, but I wanted to spend it on my friends, not last-minute garbage for the classes in which I've already proven my worth. *sigh*
Oh well.
Volleyball will happen friday or saturday hopefully... I just need one more shove to finish everything off. Don't screw up in French, sieze the opportunity for an A in Programming Languages, and push enough through in Quantum Computing to get an A and a good recommendation letter out of the whole mess. Next semester is so damned close I can taste it.
I in equal measure love and hate holidays. I'm disappointed in myself. I'm also exhausted, so I hope whatever was going to happen hurries up and happens soon.
Good night, everyone. I hope to see many of you soon.
