Wow... no wonder Cherie described me as 'stricken'. I just now saw in the mirror what I looked like tonight.
Anyway, I've had a really long day... on the whole it was great despite a few bumps and a huge pot hole. I look like hell, which does not, as a point of fact, reflect my mood. I'm a bit screwed up and all, but I'm otherwise quite comfortable, and nothing can shake me from the cloud I'm on. I woke up and ran four miles, even though my legs hurt even before I started. After that, I bagged leaves again, even though the run made my back hurt. After that I went to Rollins where I had to avoid Cherie for an hour because she was with her sister.
*sigh*
After that, things picked up. The activities fair was at Rollins today... Cherie was running a bit late so I took the liberty of setting up her booth, and found to my surprise that she was running the booth of the one organization that I'm actually in, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. She showed up and we ran the booth for awhile, then went to play volleyball... except that nobody came. Instead, we went back to Sutton for lunch, then played pool, then went to church, where Cherie sang. I love your voice, honey. Somewhere in there something bad could have happened, but fortunately did not.
Sorry for the stress, sweetheart. You mean everything to me.
Edit: I'm a big jerk, and Cherie's writing me a letter right now whose existence stands as evidence to that fact. I hope you can forgive me, dearest.
